Do you remember that rhyminng story about Henny Penny? One day, Henny Penny was scratching in the grass under an acorn tree. An acorn fell and hit her in the head. Henny Penny looked around but she didn't see the acorn, so she decided that the sky must be falling.

There is a big difference between a sister or brother in Christ confirming a word spoken to you by God through the holy scriptures, and a sign or wonder, or word (even from a brother or sister in Christ) that directs you away from God's word.

“Do not harden your hearts, as in the rebellion, As in the day of trial in the wilderness, When your fathers tested Me; They tried Me, though they saw My work. For forty years I was grieved with that generation, And said, ‘It is a people who go astray in their hearts, And they do not know My ways.’ So I swore in My wrath, ‘They shall not enter My rest.’ ” (Psalms 95:8‭-‬11 NKJV)

With the new movie Top Gun: Maverick rising steadily at the box office, I've been thinking about some of the epic moments in Cruise's 30+ year movie making history.
